Overview
Routing and signatory settings ensure new contracts and renewals are signed by the right people in your organization. If you’ve connected the DocuSign integration, signatories are automatically included as recipients for DocuSign documents sent from Tropic.
Before You Start
Ensure any user you add as a signatory has the platform member or owner user role. See Change a user’s roles.
Change the Routing Default
Requires the following role: Owner
The routing default indicates whether your organization prefers to send or receive contracts for signature. To change the contract routing default:
- In Tropic, go to Settings > Routing & Signatories.
- Under Routing Default, select a Party responsible for contract routing.
- Click Save.
Add a Signatory
Requires the following role: Owner
To add a signatory for your organization:
- In Tropic, go to Settings > Routing & Signatories.
- Click New Signatory.
This opens the Add Signatory modal.
- Select a user from the Choose a user dropdown.
- Provide a Title
- Phone field is optional
- Click Save Signatory.
- You can add multiple signatories
Note: If you do not see the user in the dropdown, you can invite them to be added.
Click Invite a teammate.
