Overview
The Action Center is your go-to place in Tropic for managing tasks, conversations, and activity updates. By consolidating important items in one location, it helps you stay organized and ensures nothing slips through the cracks. Use the Action Center to:
- Complete assigned tasks
- Reply to comments and mentions, or clear notifications.
- Stay updated on actions taken for contracts and requests you’re involved in.
Accessing the Action Center
To access the Action Center from the Purchasing Portal, click your avatar and select Action Center.
To access the Action Center in the Tropic Platform, click Action Center in the left sidebar.
Action Center Pages
The Action Center has three pages:

Tasks: View any open or past due tasks that are due this week. You can click on a task to open it and complete it directly from the Action Center.
- Conversations: Read and reply to comments mentioning you. You can also view and respond to comments on any contracts or requests you're following or associated with. When you're caught up, you can mark everything as read to clear notifications.
- Activity: View a live feed of actions taken on any contracts or requests you’re following or associated with. Filter by activity type, user, or date range.
Following a Request or Contract
To follow a request or contract and receive updates in the Action Center:
- Leave a comment in its Activity feed.
- You’ll automatically follow:
- A request when you submit it or are assigned a task for it.
- A contract if you’re listed as an owner.
