Overview
In Tropic, every supplier page includes a Supplier Details section. This section allows you to record relevant information, such as findings from security reviews, for each supplier. While this information is not used by the Tropic platform for renewals or other processes, it serves as a valuable internal record for your organization.

Add Security Documents for a Supplier
Security documents provide critical compliance information about your suppliers. The Security & Compliance Documents field automatically displays documents pulled from the supplier’s contract records. The following document types are supported:
- Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
- ISO 27001 Certificate
- Penetration Test
- Privacy Policy
- Security Assessment
- SOC 2 Report
To ensure accurate records, upload these documents directly to the supplier’s contracts.
To add security documents:
- Upload the required documents to one of the supplier's contracts. For detailed steps, see Add Documents to a Contract.
Once uploaded, the Security & Compliance Documents field on the supplier page will update automatically to display the relevant documents.
