Declining to Sign
In DocuSign, you send documents in an envelope. The envelope has a status and contains information about signature progress.
If needed, a recipient can decline to sign a DocuSign document. This voids the related envelope in DocuSign. The sender can also void the envelope. Senders typically void envelopes to:
- Change the signatories
- Update or amend documents
- Not proceed with a purchase or contract
Voiding an envelope cancels all outstanding signing activities in DocuSign. It also completes all Sign Documents tasks for the document in Tropic.
