Overview
In Tropic, each supplier page includes a Supplier Contacts section where you can store contact details for a supplier’s representatives. This information is intended solely as a record for your organization—Tropic does not use these details for renewals or other purposes.
Required Roles
You need one of the following roles to manage supplier contacts:
- Owner
- Platform Member
- Department Admin
- Department Member
Steps to Add a Supplier Contact
- Click Suppliers in Tropic.
- Select the supplier’s name.
- Scroll down to the Supplier Contacts section.
- Click Create Supplier Contact.
- Enter the contact’s details. Email, First Name, and Last Name are required.
- Click Add Supplier Contact.
Steps to Edit a Supplier Contact
- In Tropic, click Suppliers.
- Click the name of the supplier.
- Under Supplier Contacts, click the name of the contact.
- Change the field values.
- Click Save Changes.
Steps to Delete a Supplier Contact
You can delete a supplier contact from the supplier page.
- In Tropic, click Suppliers.
- Click the name of the supplier.
- Under Supplier Contacts, click the ellipsis […] next to the contact.
- Click Delete.
