Overview
Re-opening tasks in Tropic allows users to revisit and make changes to completed or skipped tasks within a request workflow. This ensures flexibility in addressing changes or errors that may arise during the procurement process. Owners, platform members, and department admins can re-open tasks assigned to them. Owners can also re-open tasks completed or skipped by other users, offering broader control over workflow adjustments.
Steps to Re-Open a Task
Requires one of the following roles:
- Owner
- Platform member
- Department admin
To re-open a completed or skipped task for a request:

Navigate to Requests.

Select the request associated with the task you need to update.

Click the Workflow Tasks tab.

Under Completed & Skipped Tasks, click the ellipsis [...].

Select Re-open Task.

Click Re-Open Task to confirm.
Note: Re-opening a task does not change the status of any other task in the workflow.
