Overview
Requestors and users can easily track and manage the stages of requests using either the Purchasing Portal or the Tropic platform. This guide provides detailed steps to view, group, and filter requests by stage, ensuring clear visibility into request progress.
View a Request’s Stage in the Purchasing Portal
If you created a request, you can track its progress in the Your Requests section of the Purchasing Portal. Locate the request’s current stage in the Stage column of this section’s table.
View a Request’s Stage in the Tropic Platform
Requires one of the following roles: Owner Platform member Department admin Department member
For users with Tropic platform access, viewing an individual request’s stage is straightforward:
- In Tropic, click Requests.
- Select the request you wish to view.
The request stage is displayed prominently at the top of the page.
Group and Filter Requests by Stage
Requires one of the following roles: Owner Platform member Department admin Department member
Users with access to the Tropic platform can group and view requests by stage.
- In Tropic, click Requests.
- Click the Table icon.
- Click the Stage column to sort the requests by stage
- Use Filters to apply filter requests by stage. Then click Apply.
