Overview
The Requests page in the Tropic platform is your central hub for managing all purchase requests. Whether you are tracking your own requests or overseeing those created by other users, this page provides a comprehensive view of each request's status and details:

Uploaded documents

Progress through the workflow, including open, upcoming, and completed tasks
To access the Requests page, click on Requests in the platform. By default, the page displays requests by stage. To view requests in a table format, click on the icon that looks like three vertical bars.
Request Metrics
To manage and monitor your requests more effectively, this section provides key metrics to help you focus on crucial aspects requiring attention in your request management:
Time Sensitive Requests: or At Risk Requests: Count of open requests where the Approvals and Signature stage has not been completed and are either past their target signature date or within 7 days of the end date of a contract attached to the request.

- Click on the count to access a detailed list of these time-sensitive requests, allowing you to prioritize and address them promptly.
Total Anticipated Spend: or Requested spend: Displays the sum of the total contract value for open requests. This metric provides insight into the overall financial commitment anticipated from your open requests.

- Click on the amount to view a detailed breakdown, helping you manage and plan your budget effectively.
No Activity in 14 Days: Counts requests that meet the following criteria: Requests where the stage is not Completed, Not Renewing, Non-Addressable, or Not Purchasing, and have had no activity (comments or task completion) in over 14 days.

- Click on the count to access a list of these requests, enabling you to follow up and ensure timely progress.
Requests Needing Contracts: Counts contracts that meet the following criteria: Stage is not Completed, Not Renewing, Non-Addressable, or Not Purchasing, and the current task type is Upload Contracts and Documents or Create Contract, with no activity (task completion or comment) in the last 14 days.

- Click on the count to see a detailed list of requests needing contracts, allowing you to address any delays and complete the necessary documentation.
Interacting with Filters
When you click on any given link, such as Time Sensitive Requests, No Activity in 14 Days, or Requests Needing Contracts, a filter will be applied to your view. This filter allows you to see specific information related to the selected category.
Additionally, you can further refine your view using more available filters.
You can filter requests using various criteria such as requester, department, request stage, dates, and more to easily find the relevant information.
Viewing Requests
You can click on the request’s supplier to view detailed information for the request, including:
- Activity for the request
- The request form submission
- Tasks for the requests, including upcoming, completed, and skipped tasks
- Documents uploaded to the request
- The request’s progress through its workflow
- Management details for the request, including its workflow.
