When you create a purchase category, Tropic assigns the category a default request form. This form is immediately available to users when they Create a Request.
We recommend you deactivate the form until you can customize it. While the form is deactivated, users can’t select the purchase category when creating requests.
After you customize it, you can reactivate the form. This lets users select the category when creating requests.
Deactivate a Request Form
Requires the following role: Owner
To deactivate a request form:

In Tropic, go to Settings --> Purchase Categories.

Under the Active tab, click … for the category row.

Select Deactivate Request Form.
A related success message is displayed. The purchase category moves to the Inactive tab.
Activate a Request Form
Requires the following role: Owner
To activate a request form:

In Tropic, go to Settings --> Purchase Categories.
- Click the Inactive tab.

Click the ellipsis […] for the category row.

Select Activate Request Form.
A related success message is displayed. The purchase category moves to the Active tab.
