Overview
Starting March 19, we’re moving features in the Spend Management tab to more intuitive areas in Tropic. While you will no longer see the Spend Management tab, this update simplifies navigation, making it easier for you to find key spend insights—all without losing any functionality.
We understand that changes like this can raise questions, so we’ve outlined exactly where you can find everything that was previously in Spend Management and how the transition will improve your workflow.
Where to Find Key Spend Insights
The functionality you previously accessed in Spend Management is still available, now in the following locations:
Features | New Location | What’s Changing? |
Expense Mapping / All Expenses | Integrations > Data Matching > Expenses | Moved the Expense Matching from Spend Management to the Data Matching tab so all third party data can be managed in one area |
Usage Insights | Suppliers Overview Page | Now consolidated with other supplier-related data for a more complete view on the Suppliers Page. |
Product Matching | Integrations > Data Matching > Products | Moved the Product Matching tab from settings to the Data Matching tab so all third party data can be managed in one area |
All Employees | Deprecated | List of employees using specific applications can still be viewed within the supplier details page, but we did not relocate the all employees index |
Why This Change?
We know that finding the right spend insights quickly is important, so we’re making things simpler:
- Everything in One Place – No more jumping between tabs! Your spend insights now live where they make the most sense.
- A Clearer Supplier Hub – All supplier-related expenses and usage details are now together in the Supplier tab for easier tracking.
📌 Nothing’s Going Away – You’ll still have access to all the same data—it’s just been reorganized to make it easier to find. 📌
