How It Works
Purchase Prep Assistant runs automatically on eligible contracts, those with documents attached and marked Active or Active-Future. Non-renewing contracts aren’t included.You’ll see the results in three moments that matter most.
When Reviewing a Contract
On the Contract Details page, the Contract Insights widget gives you a snapshot of PPA’s work: badges that flag risks or opportunities and a clear recommendation, renew, negotiate, or cancel.
If you need more detail, open the Contract Insights tab for a deeper dive or click View Details.
- Key Findings: Gives your team a clear recommendation, so you can glance at a contract and know exactly what needs to be addressed, whether to renew, negotiate, or cancel.
- Price Benchmark Table: Tells you whether you’re paying too much, how your price compares to the market, and whether you should keep your price, reconsider, or push for savings.
- Compliance Check: Flags where your contract terms don’t align with your policies (like auto-renewals, payment frequency, or uplift clauses) so you know exactly what needs to change and what’s already in good shape.
- Negotiation Tactics: Shows you which approaches have the highest chance of success, so you know exactly which levers to pull in your renewal conversations.

The Contract Calendar on your homepage highlights upcoming renewals with insights. You can quickly see which contracts are high impact, which need review, and which are already optimized.
